using EFM32 Eval Board to debug EFR32

[ Edited ]

Hello,

I am currently developing with the EFR32 Flex Gecko on a custom PCB with the EFR32 Flex Gecko Eval Board as debugger/programmer.

Now I need more debuggers. Can I also use for example a EFM32 PEARL GECKO STARTER KIT (SLSTK3401A) for debugging or is this only possible with a EFR32 eval board?

Thanks for your help

Re: using EFM32 Eval Board to debug EFR32

Hi @fg,

Good question! Yes an EFM32 eval board can be used to be the debug host for a custom EFR32 board.  The J-Link controller that is on the EFM32 STK gives the necessary functionality.

Thank you,

jpitt

Does Thunderboard React only support 'out' in debugger mode?

Thank you

@kimkyeyoung,
i am a little bit confused.
are you asking "does an j-link debugger was included in the thunderboard react kit"?
