experience in standard gcc compiler for SS4

Hello,

 

is anyone expierienced in using a standard gcc compiler to use for SS4 instead of keil and IAR?

which one can I use?

GCC is (can be) installed with SS4. But beware, not all SDK's support GCC (yet).

i am using the EFR32MG1P132F256GM48. can i switch the compiler somewhere to test if the (mabe) installed GCC is working?

Then I expect you want to use Zigbee or Thread and the answer is no AFAIK.

Hi @Hobbit23,

 

@vanmierlo is correct, The Zigbee and Thread stacks currently only support the IAR compiler.  With the latest release the Bluetooth stack (v2.3.0.0) has added beta support for the gcc compiler.
