@zender64

I am not sure but based on the test on my side it looks like the variable will be automatilly added in the variables view when I add a breakpoint and stop at that.

Thanks.

I'm used from other programs that you have to set up the variables.

Is there something like a live watch like in IAR ?

Re: How do I show variables in Debug ?

Hi arnold,

Live variable updates has been requested from others and it is a pending feature request.  But, I am not sure if / when that feature will be added.

For Windows systems, the Micrium µC/Probe program can now be downloaded and installed from within Simplicity Studio.  It does allow live updates of variables and a lot more.  I have not had a chance to set it up yet, so I do not know of the details in using it.  The documentation for it is available under the [File] > [Help] entry.

Thank you,

jpitt

Re: How do I show variables in Debug ?

Thanks,

but I don't have the nerve to getting used with a new program.

I'm still having a hard time with Studio.

I will just use IAR again. Is much ieasier to use.
