Does anyone here know if the Stateviewer plugin for Open/Safe/FreeRTOS works in Simplicity Studio?
I managed to install the plugin without any fuss from the repository (HighIntegrity Systems, the folks behind Open/SafeRTOS i think), however, the Task Table and Queue Table are both empty when pausing the debugger. configUSE_TRACE_FACILITY in FreeRTOSConfig.h is set to 1.
We are running FreeRTOS on a HappyGecko, currently on the HG eval board (Happy Gecko 3400 Starter Kit) using the built-in debugger.

It appears that the StateViewer plugin has dependencies on GDB, which is not supported in Simplicity Studio at this time. We will investigate additional options on how we can enable support for this, and will post an update once confirmed.

Hi - We're evaluating Giant Gecko for a new product line.
We also need of the FreeRTOS plugin within Simplicity Studio.
Any progress with this?
Best Regards, Dave

Unfortunately this is still in the backlog but will not be addressed in near term. The earliest we will be able to start addressing this would be later in Q2.

Q2 is gone, and developing EFM32 programs with FreeRTOS without any way to debug and see the tasks status is just a nightmare and a non sense ...
Do you happen to have a due date for the integration of Stateviewer in Simplicity Studio ?
