How can I extend/export the UART log?

Hello,

I am new to the Silabs boards. When I run the range test example code and open the terminal Serial 1 tab for my devices, I can only see a couple hundred lines of the UART log. Is there anyway to prevent extend the number of lines or anyway to generate a csv file?

Thanks.

@SNM

Which part you are using?

What tools and where you are using and see only hundred line of log? do you have a screenshot to make the issue more clear?

Here is the log I am talking about, The only packets I can see data for in the log are 659-772 as all the packets before 659 were cut off.

Hi @SNM,

Thank you for the helpful screenshot you provided showing that you are using the Simplicity Studio Network analyzer console output.  I have a couple of suggestions:

1) You may be able to log the console output to a .csv file by clicking the terminal icon near the bottom left of the console window, clicking [Append to text file...], then selecting/creating a file to write to:

2) You may be able to get more lines of console output by changing the console preferences.  To do this, click [Window]>[Preferences], then click [Run/Debug]>[Console] and uncheck the [Limit console output] checkbox:

I hope this helps!  Let me know if you have any questions.

Regards,
