ts1101

Hello,

 

I have problem with TS1101 if I use this current sensor and current is high frekvency, then SIGNAL pin is betwen 0 to 3 volt. Sometime is on 1,5 to 2,2V. VDD is corect 3V3, but CPU have problem with this. I use digital input. I measure current from lifepo batery 48V/ 100Ah to Victron DC/AC converter.

Can you help me with this?

The SIGN output is a digital HIGH for current from RS+ to RS-, and LOW  for current from RS- to RS+ (or for Load-disconnect). If the converter is pulling current  in the positive direction (VRS+ > VRS-) then stopping (VRS+ = VRS-), the SIGN pin should toggle between high and low.

Yes I know this, normaly work this, but if charge or discharke isnt DC (it is DC with HF AC) then SIGN is betwen 0,5 - 2,5V. If I instal kapacity on SIGN 10uF sometimes help but sometimes not.

Now I see on osciloskop, cuent is DC with AC 50Hz superposition from DC/AC convertor. If convertor generate smal power everithing is ok, but if generate more then 200W, superposition is biger and SIGN pin is betwen 0.5 to 2,5 V.

The SIGN output is dependent upon if VRS+ is greater than VRS-. There is a delay of 3msec if Vsense is +/-1mV. If SIGN is transitioning between GND and VDD it is because the voltage across VRS+ and VRS- is transient. Please use the oscilloscope to measure Vsense with respect to SIGN. SIGN will transition between HIGH and LOW depending upon Vsense.
