Frequency Accuracy and Stability for Si-4713

Dear Sir/Madam,

We are using Si-4713 for FM Generation. The carrier output constantly varies, +/-3.5 kHz around the carrier.

We want to utilise this IC in our production. Please suggest way to improve the frequency tolerance.

Or kindly, assist with any other best possible solution from your end.

Which crystal (with which accurancy) are you using to supply the RCLK?

We are using Epson crystal Part Number 732-FC135-32.76kAA3 32.768kHz- 20 PPM

It has +/- 20 ppm accuracy, that means: +/- 2kHz at 100 MHz

Also, in the Si4713 datasheet in Table 9. FM Transmitter Characteristics it says:

Transmit Frequency Accuracy and Stability: min: –3.5, max: 3.5 kHz

Thanks. but its 20 PPM, and crystal is of 32.786 kHz so isn't it .666 Hz?

Actually we tried to provide signal by signal generator also, still its varying.

Yes, Andi correct that datasheet itself specifies that stability will be between +/-3.5 kHz. but then how can we optimise it and get to least variation. I am looking for a very stable output with a tolerance of +/- 10 Hz.
