Win64 VCP Drivers v6.7.4 problem

My device shows up as an HID input device rather than a virtual COM port on my Win64 system.  I've done an uninstall of Windows Driver Package - Silicon Labs..., and reinstalled the the VCP driver. No luck.

Any solutions on how to made this work?  And please no links to outdated manual driver removal steps.

@Zanerox
You did not mention which device you are testing on.
Is this device a DK board from Silabs?
Do you mean this device was detected as COM port on other machine and works fine?

Thanks for responding.  I had the wrong development board!  Oops.  It's coming up correctly now.
