So what i do is i connect cp2102 to usb port and

so it seems debian is recognising the cable but when i

emvoo@debian:~$ sh ~/logo_soft_comfort/LOGOComfort

it opens LOGO Soft Comfort then i go to Options -> Interface nothing is there so i click on automatic detection and get an error

'Interface selection error
Please check:
-Mode of the LOGO!:robottongue:C <-->LOGO!
-The LOGO!PC cable connects the LOGO! and the PC'

But i know for sure that both are fulfilled. I also know that cable is working properly (as it worked under windows before i installed debian and worked once or twice under ubuntu (just before debian - main reason i switched to debian was that cable stopped working in ubuntu).

What could be the reason that LOGO Soft doesnt see (i mean it does when linux allows it (yes i blame linux as i managed to get it to work on win7 x64 even today) or cant communicate with cable. Even windows run under VM doesnt recognize cable at all (like nothing was connected) so i assume that linux somehow is blocking ttyUSB - but i dont know how to check/fix it.

Is there anyone who could advise/guide me on that matter please?

Thanks in advance

---------------------

Works now! All it was i had to start logo soft comfort as root as normal user didnt have access to ttyUSB0 and that makes me laugh really as im working on it for over a week now hahaha
