Radio Receiver Chips in DIP Format

I would like to suggest to SiLabs that you PLEASE make some (or all) of your radio receiver integrated circuits in (through-hole) DIP format.  I think there would be sufficient demand for DIP chips from companies that do not have access to SMT board facilities. THANKS !!! Smiley Happy

Re: Radio Receiver Chips in DIP Format

the sad thing is that the older you get and your eyes get weaker, the chips get smaller.

one reason for the demise of the DIP is the long internal leads, a very fast signal can not be successfully decoupled externally.

for prototyping - hope it works - and get some of these SMD to DIP converter boards.  Remember to put the Vcc decoupling on the adapter, the length to the main will be too long
