Using Simplicity Studio without IAR compiler for BGM111?

Hello,

The product description for Simplicity Studio saids that gcc is available for.  Is this a recent development?  Does that mean we don't need IAR to compile for BGM111 in Simplicity Studio anymore?

Thanks,

Eric

Re: Using Simplicity Studio without IAR compiler for BGM111?

Simplicity Studio supports gcc. If you are developing with our MCUs (like EFM32 Pearl Gecko) you can use gcc.

Our BLE SDK requires IAR as it is currently the only compiler supported with the BLE SDK.
