BLE121LR

Hi there,

This is such a simple question but I've searched high & low to no avail...

I am using a host micro & just want to control the module using BGAPI.

The default UART parameters were easy to find:

UART baud rate: 115200
Hardware flow control: enabled
Data bits: 8
Parity: none
Stop bits: 1

But what are the default pins for RX, TX, RTS & CTS please?

Many thanks for your help.

Re: BLE121LR

Hi,

They're in this KBA.

Re: BLE121LR

Hi Tiago,

The KBA diagram is for the BLE11X.

I am using the BLE121LR.

Is the factory default UART port pin assignment the same?

I note that the UART pin directions are for DTE (vs. DCE).

I have attached my provisional pin assignment.

Many thanks for your help.

Warmest regards,

Andrew.

Hi,

Yes that's correct.

Re: BLE121LR

Hi Tiago,

The KBA gives the defualt Baud rate as 57600.

"UG213 Bluetooth Smart Ready Software Getting Started Guide V1.2" section 4.1 gives the default Baud rate as 115200.

I take it that the KBA is definative?

Also that P0_0 (wake-up) must be high to enable the UART?

PDF of schematic sheet attached.

Many thanks for your help.

Re: BLE121LR

Hi,

That document is for BT121 (Smart-Ready), not BLE1xx.

Yes you need to use the wake-up pin (P0_0) before sending commands to the module.

Tiago
