Re: CPU core could not start

Could you check the power switch on the STK to make sure it's set to 'AEM'?

Re: CPU core could not start

hi @pradnya,

Did you even try to upgrade the J-Link FW of the evaluation board ? And how about the FW version of your board.

Do you have any other boards on hand, and how about the performance of others ?

Thanks

Re: CPU core could not start

Could you also try erasing the device in the flash programmer after updating the kit firmware (if that doesn't work) ?

If neither of those work, I would open a support ticket to see if we can get your kit replaced. It might also be helpful if we could get your kit to see what's gone wrong with it.

Re: CPU core could not start

And your kit is in Debug Mode: MCU when you attempt to connect to the chip on the kit?

Re: CPU core could not start

Do you still have this issue, this is very strange. Do you mean you only have this issue with th EFM8 UB1 STK and don't have any problem on your own board? What debugger you are using to connect your own customized board?
