ThunderBorad sense new project errors

I've been playing with a Happy Gecko for a while and recently I've got the new ThunderBorad sense. Now before I attempted to do something with it, I downloaded ALL files that simplicity studio recommended for this board. The problem is that either an empty C program or Simplicity Configurator program show a lot of errors without any modifications, so my question is why is this happening with my ThunderBorad sense and not with my Happy Gecko Borad?

Gecko SDK Suite: MCU 5.1.2 v1.0.0

GNU ARM v4.9.3

Some of the errors are:

Field 'HFCLKSTATUS' could not be resolved system_efr32mg1p.c /blink/CMSIS/EFR32MG1P line 185 Semantic Error
Field 'HFCLKSTATUS' could not be resolved system_efr32mg1p.c /blink/CMSIS/EFR32MG1P line 264 Semantic Error

It seems like there are some files left as the majority of errors are about definitions, but should be able simplicity studio to add the require file for my project?

Re: ThunderBorad sense new project errors

Hi Schleswig,

Applications using the ThunderBoard sense will generally be using one of the wireless stacks, not an empty C application.  You can use the "New Project" dialog to create a project using these stacks, or start with some of our software examples, such as "Thunderboard Sense Blink", which should provide a basic starting point.  This example uses the Bluetooth Smart SDK.

Regards,

Joe
