How is LEUART DMA supported in EM2 if the High Frequency Clock is disabled?

I believe the DMA unit utilizes a High Frequency Clock.

With the High Frequency clocks turned off in EM2, how does the EMU handle the LEUART EM2 DMA requests?  Are the High Frequency clocks momentarily turned on to support these transfers, thus temporarily going into EM1 state?

Thank you.

Hi kag,

Yes, when a DMA transfer is initiated in EM2, the HFRCO is started and used to run the DMA.  The HFRCO is disabled once the DMA transaction has completed.

Joe
