EMF32GG user page information

I am using the EM32GG395F1024 device. I am trying to write the data in user page (from 0x0FE00000 to 0x0FE01000 i.e. 4kb of data). But while doing so i am able to write  2kb of data only. (i.e. from 0x0FE00000 to 0x0FE007FF). After 0xFE00800 i am not able to write any data in user page.

While going through Reference Manual (Revision 0.96) I found that in Figure 5.2. System Address Space, user page size is showing 512B, and in Table 7.1. MSC Flash Memory Mapping, user page size is mentioned as 2k.

while in other Reference Manual (Revision 1.20) user page size is 4K.

So question is what is the exact size of user page in giant gecko ?

I am using device which is  having Chip Revision is 1D  and Production Id is 139.

Re: EMF32GG user page information

Hi RSS,

Wow, what a mess. The rev 1.20 manual still appears to be wrong.

The user data page on Giant Gecko is 2 Kbytes.

I confirmed this in our legacy Energy Micro support database (where the exact same question was asked and answer) and wrote some test code to confirm as much.

Sorry for the confusion. I'll put an item in our applications engineering queue to fix this yet again.

John
