Hi, hopefully this helps someone in the future.
after struggling far too long, I found out that there is an error in the schematic pinout of the expansion port for the Starter Kit EFM32GG-STK3700.
Pins 15 and 17 on the expansion are labeled incorrectly in the schematic. It says that pin 15 is PD7 and pin 17 is PC6.
I was very surprised and frustrated when my continuity meter told me that the PCB was different from the schematic...
The board user guide is correct. pin 15 is PC6 and pin 17 is PD7.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Thanks a lot for bring this out to our attention.
I created an internal ticket to address this and hope we could fix it in the later document new version release.

Thanks delu for creating a ticket!
The same error also exists in the schematics for Leopard Gecko BRD2201A and Wonder Gecko BRD2400A, theese files:
The error is that the netlist naming on the EXP port is wrong:
MCU_PD7 -> EXP_HEADER14 -> PC6 MCU_PC6 -> EXP_HEADER12 -> PD7
As it seems to be a copy-paste error, I would recommend you to extend the ticket to check more schematics as well.

I've queued the updated schematics on the website, so they should show up in less than a day, and I've attached them here. I've also scheduled them to be updated in Simplicity Studio.
