You could check the EFM32 endianess (little) by reading out register SCB->AIRCR.

You cannot select big endian mode on EFM32.

 

Endianness is a design time instantiation option on ARM cores, and you will find that the ENDIANNESS status bit in SCB->AIRCR is hardwired to 0 on EFM32 devices just as it is on every other Cortex M-series standard product of which I am aware.
